Tonight I moved my blog over to my hosting account on GoDaddy. A friend of mine was asking questions about WordPress and in searching for answers I ended up installing it. Looks good so far. My few posts have successfully been copied over. All in all, woohoo!

Looking back over a couple of the old posts from two and a half years ago, I can’t help but think, “wow, my writing style sucked.” Not that it is any better, but still. I fixed a couple of the grammatical errors but I can tell I still need help.

Today was Father’s Day as we all know. I had a good day. I was able to spend some time with my son as well as my parents. We did some much overdo work on the house to help alleviate a water-getting-in-the-house issue. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases where it’s impossible to tell if it works. Water doesn’t come in every time when it rains so success cannot be determined if water does not come in the house. Failure, however, is easy.

But alas, readers, I must sign off. It is time for sleep.

So apparently you can now buy cancer. Who’d have thought.

I was bored. And when I am bored I use the StumbleUpon plug-in on Firefox. So I came across an interesting site saying to drink more water. Blah blah blah. Well…you know those hot linked words that sites use to advertise? Well, one of the words called out was Cancer. I hovered over it and sure enough, you can buy Cancer!

After 6 weeks of fixing, debugging, rebuilding, I am almost through with the current project I am on. All I can say is, stupid IE6. Coding across browsers is a pain in the ass. but now the site works pretty well across all 5 major browsers (IE6, IE7, FF, MAC FF, and MAC Safari).

Guitar Hero is addicting. I went through the first three rounds of Guitar Hero: Encore 80s edition. Took me an hour and a half. But I did it. Now my wrists and ankles hurt from playing and standing for a while.

So I started working out my upper body more recently. Normally I would just run for a half hour and be done with it. But I started using the exercise equipment in the gym we go to.

I wonder how much space I have on this site to post pictures…

Tonight I spent about $400 for my son’s birthday. We got him PS2 and Guitar Hero. He had better enjoy this. We already are.

So he is 8 now. 8 years ago on this night my son’s mother was pushing him out. Well, 8 years and 2 and a half hours ago. Still. It’s amazing how time flies. It is still unbelievable that he is in third grade already. And then next year he will be in fourth grade….where does the time go?

So this is my first post here. I am going to try to update this more often than I do my LiveJournal. I had an idea while I was in Italy. I’d like to post my random observation for the day. Now…I get lazy and I probably won’t update as often as I’d like. But I will do my best. Of course, now to get people to read my posts.
